Trulli Update on Gascoyne departure E-mail Print

Jarno Trulli has been reassuring the press that the Toyota team still remains a happy place after the departure of Mike Gascoyne earlier on in the month. He left the team due to tensions between himself and the senior management within the team.

The Aero and chassis departments have been filled by Gascoyne's deputy Pascal Vasselon but the team have yet to find a replacement for chief designer.

At a press conference Trulli commented that it is just something that happens, people come and go and that is part of the experience. Mike created a lot of people around him who ultimately know the job so there is no huge void or disruption within the team but of course he will be missed.
